International Pancake Day

I am sure it is going to be great! I plan on being at IHOP for the free pancakes at 8:30. Yum yum. Last year I don’t think I paid anything, but I found out recently that the money given is for donations to a children’s hospital. This time I won’t deprive the children of my charity.

Now who is the winner?

The bolded stuff is the Pros. And there are more pros for Northwestern. Not to mention there are some AMAZING people in St. Paul, but I also have some 2nd cousins in Ohio. So although Northwestern has more pros, but Bluffton is giving me so much more dinero! That is a lot of money to turn away. Necesito rezar.

A Waiting List is the new Maybe

Why couldn’t Northwestern just say yes or no? And this next Saturday I have an interview for 2010 Outstanding Young Man/Woman of the Year for City Council District 3. Hope that goes well. 3 years in Academic Decathlon better pay off.

Oh boy, Full Tuition.

Well about 2 1/2 weeks ago I flew out to Bluffton Ohio for Bluffton Universities Presidential Scholarship Competition. About 75% of the competitors were from Ohio, and about 22% from Indiana, and then a girl from Nevada, and me. I came the farthest. Anyways out of the 91 students competing, I was one of the 2 to get the top scholarship which is full tuition. Just found out tonight. Well after tuition there is another $8,000 (not including books). Well just from other funds from Bluffton and my church, I think I would be getting an additional $3,000-5,000 yearly. And then that doesn’t take into account any outside scholarships I could get. Needless to say this would be quite inexpensive considered to any other out-of-state college.

But honestly, I am set on Northwestern. But that would probably be >$10,000 more. Yo no se que voy a hacer.

I kind of want to dress up and see this movie at midnight…

I haven’t traditionally been one for dressing up, but this movie looks quite fantastic.
